As part of our commitment to quality memory care, our care partners regularly monitor sleep habits, nutritional intake, vital signs, and changes in mood or behavior.
Some of the most common types of dementia include Alzheimer’s disease, vascular dementia, frontotemporal dementia, and dementia with Lewy bodies. At Legato Living, we believe the best outcomes come from a team-based approach. Our care team includes dementia-trained care partners, licensed nurses, and collaboration with each resident’s physicians.
To ensure residents receive the highest level of care and communication, Legato Living homes prioritize strong partnerships and ongoing collaboration with family members, Powers of Attorney (POA), and medical providers.
As dementia progresses, it can become increasingly difficult for residents to leave the home for medical appointments. Through partnerships with geriatric physicians and nurse practitioners who visit our homes, residents can receive care in an environment where they feel comfortable. This approach allows providers to consult directly with the care partners who support residents each day, helping ensure continuity and quality of care.
